Palace in Szklary Górne, Palace in Szklary Górne, Poland.

The Palace in Szklary Górne is an imposing brick building with symmetrical architecture and traditional Silesian design elements from the early 18th century. The structure dominates the village landscape with its multi-storey form and regularly spaced window rows, typical of noble residences from that era.

The building was constructed between 1715 and 1725 as a residence for wealthy landowners and reflects the architectural preferences of Silesian aristocracy during that period. Since 1961 it has been registered as an immovable monument, protecting its status as a historical record of the region.

The building now serves as a specialist school and educational centre, blending its role as a learning space with the preservation of historical architecture. The rooms still display elements from its time as a noble residence, giving visitors a sense of how the former inhabitants lived.

The site is easily accessible via the main roads of Lower Silesian Voivodeship and located in a rural area with good road connections. Visitors should note that this is an active school location, so tours are best arranged outside school hours or by prior arrangement.

The building was originally surrounded by extensive parkland that underscored its importance as a seat of power, though little trace of these grounds remains today. These vanished gardens were part of a larger network of noble estates in the region that shaped the landscape organization of that era.
