Palace in Samotwór, Noble palace in Samotwór, Poland

The three-story rectangular brick palace features a mansard roof, front porticos with columns, and stucco decorations on the main southeastern facade.

Carl Gotthard Langhans, who later designed the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, completed this palatial residence for Baron Gottlob von Saurma in 1781.

The palace interior contains an oval salon decorated with rich stucco work and a neoclassical fireplace installed during the 1919 renovation period.

The palace functions as a hotel and restaurant complex, accessible by bus line 609 from Świebodzki Station in Wrocław.

Manfred von Richthofen, the World War I flying ace known as the Red Baron, spent numerous vacations at this estate during its Richthofen family ownership.
