Tęcza, Installation artwork in Saviour Square, Warsaw, Poland.

Tęcza is an installation made of artificial flowers in Saviour Square, Warsaw, forming an arch in traditional spectrum colors. The structure stands freely on the paved square and creates a continuous tunnel through which pedestrians can walk.

Artist Julita Wójcik created this installation in 2012 as a temporary public art project. The work was later made permanent and has been rebuilt several times after damage.

The installation bears the Polish word for rainbow and has become a popular meeting spot for young city residents. Many Varsovians use the area for strolling or as a landmark in the center.

The square sits in the center of Śródmieście and is easy to reach on foot or by public transport. The installation stands outdoors year-round and can be viewed freely at any time.

The flowers are individually attached to a metal frame, creating a soft rustling sound in the wind. Looking closely, you can see that each color consists of several shades.
