Sanktuarium św. Michała Archanioła i bł. Bronisława Markiewicza w Miejscu Piastowym

This sanctuary is a three-nave church with two towers on its front and Slavic design elements throughout. Inside, the main altar holds a statue of Our Lady Queen of Poland, while a sarcophagus containing reliquaries sits on the right side.

Construction began in 1931 under architect Jan Sas-Zubrzycki and finished in 1935. The building rose during a period of major shifts in Polish history.

The place is named after Blessed Bronisław Markiewicz, whose path to sainthood is connected to this sanctuary. Visitors encounter his presence throughout the space through reliquaries and commemorative elements that matter to pilgrims.
