Varso Tower, Skyscraper in Warsaw, Poland
Varso Tower is a skyscraper in Warsaw, Poland, rising 310 meters with a glass and steel facade. The main shaft is a rectangular tower in pale blue reflective glazing, divided by vertical mullions into a grid of panels, and topped by a slender spire with a small antenna; a lower stepped section of the same blue glass descends in rectangular tiers toward the base on the left side.
Varso Tower was designed by Foster + Partners and completed in 2022 as part of the Varso Place development. It was shortlisted for the International High-Rise Award 2024/25, recognizing its design and urban integration.
The lobby features a 10-metre-high ceramic artwork by local artist Krystyna Kaszuba-Wacławek, which adds a local touch to the space. The public plaza, enclosed within a glazed screen and filled with full-height trees and benches, serves as a shared spot for office workers and visitors.
The tower sits at the corner of Jana Pawła II and Chmielna Street, with a direct underground link to Warsaw Central Station. Two panoramic lifts take visitors from the ground to the viewing platform on level 53, and the surrounding plaza has benches and trees for a break.
The viewing platform on level 53 is the highest inhabited floor in Poland, offering uninterrupted views of the city. A landscaped terrace bar on level 49, with sixteen trees, is set to become Warsaw's highest garden.
