House of Stevan Mokranjac in Negotin

The house at Dositejeva Street 7 features multiple exhibition rooms displaying personal items, including the original piano and family portraits of Stevan Mokranjac.

Built in 1867, this residence became a cultural monument after being the birthplace of Stevan Mokranjac, who established the first permanent music school in Belgrade in 1899.

The museum presents original manuscripts, documents, and musical instruments that demonstrate Mokranjac's influence on Serbian classical and traditional music composition.
