The Durasov Theatre stands within the Lyublino Park and Estate complex, featuring classical Russian architectural elements from the early nineteenth century period.
Architects Rodion Rodionowitsch Kasakow and Ivan Vasil'evich Yegotov designed this federal cultural heritage site, which opened its doors in 1800 under Nikolai Durasov's ownership.
The theatre building served as a performance venue for serf actors, attracting distinguished guests including Empress Maria Fyodorovna who visited in 1818.
Located at 1-1 Ulitsa Letnyaya near Metro Volzhskaya, the theatre operates from 10:00 to 18:00 every day except Mondays.
The theatre school building, designed specifically for training serf performers, maintains its original purpose through current theatrical productions on the estate grounds.
