Naval Hospital in Kronstadt

The Naval Hospital in Kronstadt is a multi-story medical complex with a main building and three side wings that form a courtyard. The interior contains operating theaters, hospital wards, and support spaces spread across different floors in a methodical arrangement.

Peter the Great established it in 1717 in temporary wooden barracks, then relocated it to its permanent building in 1723. Over time it became the central naval hospital for the entire Russian fleet.
