Харама Хайата

The Kharama Khayata mountain rises 300 meters above the Amga River, featuring natural rock formations that display human-like faces on its surface point.

In March 2013, the Abaginsky Nasleg Council of Deputies designated Kharama Khayata as a protected natural reserve, covering an area of 116 hectares.

According to Yakut legends, the mountain bears witness to an ancient battle between a young shaman and a female shaman from opposing clans.

The Amga River near Kharama Khayata provides fishing opportunities with nineteen fish species, including taimen, lenok, grayling, whitefish, and burbot.

The mountain's rock surface displays naturally formed facial patterns that, according to local beliefs, change expressions from smiling to sadness at different times.
