Алеусский заказник, государственный природный заказник в Алтайском крае
The Aleus Nature Reserve is a protected area in Russia that contains forests, grasslands, and water systems in a large expanse. The reserve features a chain of lakes fed by snowmelt and springs, alongside pine forests, mixed woodlands, and wetland areas with sandy and clay soils.
The reserve was established in 1973 to protect forests and the animals living within them. Since then, its boundaries and conservation rules have been revised and refined multiple times to address changing environmental needs.
Movement within the reserve is restricted to designated routes, and visitors should stay on these paths to avoid disturbing wildlife. Organized trails and viewpoints are available for tourists, allowing nature observation without upsetting the animals that live there.
The Burla River originates within the reserve, with its sources located deep within the protected landscape. This location makes the area the birthplace of an important regional water system.
