Памятник декабристам, Granite monument dedicated to Decembrists in Leninski district, Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Three granite statues, each measuring three meters in height, depict Decembrist revolutionaries wearing shackles at the intersection of Dekabristov Street.
The monument commemorates the participants of the December 1825 Uprising who passed through Yekaterinburg during their exile journey to Siberia in 1826.
The inscription on the pedestal recognizes the Decembrists' contributions to the economic and cultural advancement of the Ural region of Russia.
The monument stands near the entrance of the Ural Institute of Management, at the corner of Dekabristov Street and March 8 Street.
Sculptor Valentina Sokolova developed multiple models and composition variations over seventeen years before the monument's installation in December 2000.
