Outbuilding of the town estate of Savva Mamontov, Federal cultural heritage site in Krasnoselsky District, Russia
The outbuilding features architectural elements from 1891, situated at Sadovaya-Spasskaya Street with decorative features designed by architect Mikhail Vrubel.
The structure was reconstructed in 1891 as part of Savva Mamontov's town estate, following the original construction by court adviser Praskovya Esaulova in 1816.
The estate functioned as a meeting place for Russian artists, musicians, and intellectuals, including notable figures like Feodor Chaliapin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
The building stands at coordinates 55.770833 latitude and 37.639444 longitude, with the entrance marked by a distinctive lion mask above the gates.
Two original majolica fireplaces and stoves designed by Vrubel for the outbuilding are now preserved in the Abramtsevo museum-reserve.
