Kreativum

Kreativum is a digital planetarium and cinema located in Karlshamn Municipality with a dome-shaped theater where advanced laser projections display content across a large spherical surface. The space accommodates around 62 visitors and provides a wide viewing angle so everyone can see the entire projection without leaving their seat.

Kreativum began as a conversion of an existing facility into a modern planetarium equipped with digital technology. The opening brought advanced projection methods to the region and made astronomical education accessible to visitors.

The space functions as a gathering place where visitors explore celestial phenomena and deepen their understanding of how the universe works. People come here to learn about astronomical objects and space in an interactive way.

Plan ahead and book in advance since the limited seating fills up quickly, and children under 12 need to attend with an adult. The entrance is designed to be accessible and there are designated wheelchair spaces for visitors with mobility needs.

The projection covers around 160 degrees of viewing angle, which allows you to see the displays by turning your head while remaining in your seat. This creates an experience similar to watching the real sky, except you stay comfortably seated.
