Manor Orlové, Považská Bystrica

Manor Orlové is a baroque residence in Považská Bystrica featuring two stories with classical proportions and symmetrical design. The white facade displays detailed ornamental elements, and the structure sits near the Váh river with grounds that reflect its noble heritage.

The property was established in 1612 by nobleman Žigmund Balassa as a Renaissance single-story structure. Under Pavol Balassa's ownership, it underwent major renovation and was transformed into a baroque manor with additional stories.

The chapel of St. John of Nepomuk within this residence displays rich Rococo interiors from the late 1700s. Visitors can experience religious artwork from that era, reflecting how the noble family integrated their faith into daily life at home.
