Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, Buddhist temple complex in Phitsanulok Province, Thailand.
The temple features a main shrine hall with mother-of-pearl inlaid doors and a 36-meter high Khmer style prang containing Buddha relics.
King Lithai of Sukhothai established this religious center in 1357, commissioning the creation of multiple bronze Buddha statues for worship and meditation.
The Phra Phuttha Chinnarat statue, measuring 375 centimeters in height and covered in gold paint, represents a principal focus of Buddhist devotion.
The temple welcomes visitors daily from 6:30 to 18:00, with an entrance fee of 40 Thai Baht for international guests to access the inner sections.
The walls surrounding the main temple create a covered gallery displaying numerous Buddha statues facing inward toward the central sanctuary.
