Bubble Beach

Bubble Beach is a coastal area in East Timor where the sandy bottom slopes gradually into the sea with several large underwater rock formations visible through the water. The clarity of the water makes these features easy to observe from the surface and while diving.

Natural gas seeps beneath the sand release continuous streams of bubbles through the water creating a distinct submarine landscape. This geological feature sets the location apart from typical diving spots.
