Kreischer House, Victorian mansion in Charleston, Staten Island, United States

The brick Queen Anne style mansion features tall chimneys, decorative railings, spacious verandas, and a prominent corner tower at 4500 Arthur Kill Road.

Built in 1885 by brick manufacturer Balthasar Kreischer for his son Edward, the property initially included a second mansion for his other son Charles.

The mansion's addition to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 recognizes its architectural importance in Staten Island's Victorian-era development.

Visitors can observe original Kreischer bricks in the walkway and fireplace, while exploring the preserved Victorian interior with period furnishings.

The mansion gained media attention in 2005 when its caretaker, connected to organized crime, committed a murder within the property.
