Legg Mason Tower, Commercial skyscraper in Harbor East, Baltimore, United States
Legg Mason Tower is a 24-story glass-fronted skyscraper located on the Baltimore Inner Harbor waterfront. The building contains office spaces, three waterfront dining establishments, and retail shops throughout its structure.
The tower was completed in 2009 when the financial firm Legg Mason relocated from its previous headquarters at another location. It became part of the renewed development of the Harbor East district.
The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School operates from several floors in the building. This brings together a working financial center and an educational community in one place.
The building has a multi-story parking structure and is easily accessible from the harbor area. Plan to approach from the waterfront to explore the restaurants and shops while enjoying the surrounding views.
The building earned recognition for its energy efficiency with certifications reflecting sustainable design standards for both its structure and interior spaces. This makes it a notable example of environmentally conscious construction in Baltimore.
