Originally established in the 1850s as a bordello and bar for gold seekers, the venue later became frequented by writer Jack London.
During the 1990s, the venue transformed into a center for electronic music events, featuring performances by notable acts including Psychic TV.
The main ballroom provides space for DJ performances, while additional rooms offer separate areas for different activities and entertainment.
The original wooden bar from 1870 remains intact within the building, serving as a physical connection to the California Gold Rush era.
