SOARING

SOARING is a stainless steel sculpture located on the grounds of Alverno College that dominates the visual landscape through its reflective surface. The work stands outdoors and interacts with sunlight, which strikes its form at different angles throughout the day.

The sculpture was created by artist Lyle London and installed in 2006 as a contemporary artwork on the campus. Its addition marked a moment when the college chose to incorporate modern artistic forms into its educational grounds.
