Town Point Park extends across seven acres along the Elizabeth River, featuring walking paths, gardens, and two distinct fountains for public enjoyment.
The park underwent extensive renovation in 2008, reopening in 2009 with enhanced acoustics, modern performance infrastructure, and expanded landscaping features.
The site hosts numerous festivals throughout the year, including Norfolk Harborfest and Bayou Boogaloo, bringing together thousands of attendees for music and entertainment.
Located at 113 Waterside Drive, the park maintains 186 trees of ten different species, alongside thousands of shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses.
The Armed Forces Memorial within the park displays 20 bronze-engraved letters from service members who died after writing them, spanning conflicts from the Revolution to Gulf War.
