Swallow Boathouse, Historic boathouse at Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough, United States
The Swallow Boathouse extends 80 feet in length and 37 feet in width, supported by eight stone piers in Lake Winnipesaukee's waters.
Built between 1908 and 1910, Herbert Dumaresq commissioned the boathouse as part of his Kona Farm estate to store his steam yacht.
The building combines Tudor Revival and Shingle style architecture, representing early 20th-century waterfront construction methods in New Hampshire.
Access to the structure remains restricted to association members, with public viewing opportunities available only from watercraft on Lake Winnipesaukee.
The interior includes modified flooring sections that cover areas previously open to water, adapting the structure for contemporary requirements.
