Măng Đen

Măng Đen is a mountain town in Kon Tum region situated at about 1,200 meters elevation surrounded by pine forests. The landscape contains several waterfalls and lakes distributed throughout the area.

This location began developing as a tourist destination roughly ten years ago when investors started building resorts in the Central Highlands region. This growth gradually established the area as a recognized travel destination.

The Ka Dong community in Kon Pring gathers in their Rong communal houses where gong music and traditional celebrations form part of daily life. Visitors can step inside these buildings and observe how the community uses them for ceremonies and social gatherings.

The main access route goes through Pleiku Airport followed by a two-hour drive via mountain roads. Road conditions vary with the seasons, so checking conditions ahead of your visit helps with planning.

The Wooden Statue Garden near Pa Sy waterfall displays over one hundred carved wooden figures showing daily scenes from local ethnic groups' lives. This collection was created to make the crafts and ways of life of these communities visible to visitors.
