Skywalk Allgäu, Elevated walkway in Scheidegg, Germany
The Skywalk Allgäu features a 540-meter-long treetop path that extends between 15 and 30 meters above ground through dense forest canopy.
The nature experience park opened in October 2010 after one year of construction, incorporating 500 tons of steel and 70,000 screws in its structure.
The facility integrates educational nature trails and experiential learning elements that showcase the regional mixed forest characteristics of the Allgäu region.
The entrance fees are 14.90 euros for adults and 10.90 euros for children over one meter tall, with special rates for groups of 15 or more.
Located 1,000 meters above sea level, the walkway structure uses Nordic larch wood and includes 14 steel masts connected by 3,000 meters of steel cable.
