Bishop's Waltham Palace, Medieval episcopal ruins in Bishop's Waltham, England.

The stone palace features a three-story tower, remains of a great hall, and substantial walls surrounded by a moat in Hampshire countryside.

Henry of Blois initiated construction in 1135, establishing a residence that served Winchester bishops until Parliamentary forces destroyed it in 1644.

The Bishop's Waltham Museum, housed in former palace quarters, presents local artifacts spanning from prehistoric times to modern Hampshire history.

The palace grounds open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM between April and September, with reduced hours from 10 AM to 4 PM during winter months.

The palace hosted the signing of the Treaty of Waltham in 1522 between King Henry VIII and Emperor Charles V of the Holy Roman Empire.
