The cruciform structure features an apsidal chancel, central tower, north and south transepts, with walls made of local rubble and Ham Hill stone dressings.
Benjamin Ferrey designed the church in 1845-1846, which James Bandinel financed in memory of his father, Dr. Bandinel, the vicar of Netherbury and Beaminster.
The interior contains an altar-tomb from 1480 with an alabaster effigy in plate armor, representing a member of the More family.
The Grade II* listed building maintains regular religious services and welcomes visitors to explore its architectural details during designated hours.
The nave displays a wall-arcade of three bays and includes a round window divided into eight sectors within its gable structure.
