Barton Seagrave Hall, Country house hotel in Barton Seagrave, England.

Barton Seagrave Hall is a listed country house dating to around 1550 and sits on ten acres of land with gardens and woodland near Kettering in Northamptonshire. The building now operates as a hotel and offers bedrooms along with dining options in the Vines Bar and Brasserie.

The hall was built around 1550 by William Humphrey and stayed in his family for over a century before John Bridges acquired it in 1665. The redesign of the gardens by Humphry Repton in 1793 marked a significant turning point in the estate's appearance.

The gardens were redesigned by renowned landscape designer Humphry Repton and continue to shape the property's appearance today. They create spaces to explore between formal areas and natural woodland sections.

The location is easy to reach and offers plenty of space to explore with walking paths through the gardens and woodland areas. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes as the trails and grounds are best experienced on foot.

The building had a varied past and served as a private residence, nursing home, and eventually a hotel after 2012. This diverse history is reflected in how the property is preserved and used today.
