Pettigrew & Stephens, Department store in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, United Kingdom.

The building featured a gilt dome with a decorative lantern, white freestone facade, and galleries surrounding a central glass-roofed light well.

Established in 1888 by Andrew Pettigrew and William Stephens, the store started as Manchester House before expanding into one of Scotland's major retail establishments.

The 1901 building reconstruction incorporated architectural elements from Charles Rennie Mackintosh, including the distinctive gilded dome design.

The store sold various products from clothes and millinery to furniture, carpets, china, and operated a specialized men's department from 1923.

The original building's decorative lantern was preserved through efforts of the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society when demolition occurred in 1971.
