Eastbach Court, Grade II listed mansion in English Bicknor, England

The mid-18th century house features ashlar construction with rusticated ground floor, concrete tile roof at front, and rubble stone with slate roof at rear.

Alexander Baynham owned the original structure in 1524, before Edward Machen acquired it in 1616, initiating generations of Machen family ownership until 1883.

The property contains architectural elements from three centuries, including a Cuban Mahogany cantilevered staircase and an arch designed by Batty Langley.

The two-storey building includes a cellar, five windows with glazing bar sashes, and stone steps leading to a door with interlaced tracery.

Edward Machen, who owned the property from 1832, served as deputy surveyor of the Forest of Dean for 46 years, influencing forest management.
