Blitz and Pieces, World War II museum in Ormesby St Margaret with Scratby, England.

The Blitz and Pieces museum occupies a 1940s prefabricated building, a 1930s wooden military hut, and several large storage sheds in Norfolk.

The collection began when founder Darren Stride inherited his grandfather John Fenton's World War II service medals from the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment.

The museum features a recreated wartime street with period shops, a 1940s kitchen, living room, and an Anderson shelter with military artifacts.

Visitors need to schedule appointments in advance to explore the extensive collection of World War II memorabilia and Dad's Army television show items.

The museum houses half of the original string used in The Deadly Attachment episode of Dad's Army within Captain Mainwaring's recreated office.
