St John the Evangelist's Church, Yealand Conyers

St John the Evangelist's Church is a parish church featuring limestone walls, a north aisle extending from the main nave, a chancel at the east end, and a west tower crowned with a pointed doorway and narrow lancet windows. The building was designed by architect George Webster and completed in 1838, then expanded in 1861 and again in 1882 as the congregation grew. The parish became independent in 1870, separating from the larger church administration and establishing its own identity.
