Reedham Ferry Drainage Mill

Reedham Ferry Drainage Mill is a traditional windmill standing near the River Yare in Norfolk's waterway landscape. The structure features the typical design of mills built to pump water from low-lying areas.

Built in the 1840s, the mill operated for roughly a century as a working drainage structure for the waterlogged terrain. In 1957 it was converted from an industrial site into a private residence while keeping its outer shell intact.

The mill can be reached via the Wherryman's Way footpath, which provides river views as it passes the site. Keep in mind that it is now a private residence, so viewing is best done from the walking path outside.
