Church of St Augustine at Wrangthorn, Victorian Gothic church in Hyde Park, Leeds, England
The Church of St Augustine at Wrangthorn stands on Hyde Park Road with a three-stage pointed steeple made from local gritstone ashlar stone.
The Leeds Church Extension Society funded the construction of this Grade II listed building in 1866, which was completed and consecrated in 1871.
The interior features marble columns, a wooden ceiling painted with a crown of thorns, and a reredos depicting the Last Supper in mosaic form.
Sunday services begin at 10:30 AM, with a special All Together service occurring on the third Sunday of each month for diverse congregation needs.
The church houses an Abbott and Smith organ containing nearly 2000 pipes, installed in the early twentieth century to replace the original instrument.
