The railway features dual gauge tracks of 3.5, 5, and 7.25 inches, operating both ground-level and elevated sections around an 840-foot oval circuit.
The Milton Keynes Model Engineering Society established the railway in 2005, starting with a small track that generated funds for constructing the permanent raised-level system.
The railway connects community members through regular events, including summer traction engine rallies, Halloween trains, and December Santa specials.
Located behind the Windmill Pub at Lakeside Grove, the railway operates every Sunday from April to October between 13:00 and 17:00, charging £1 for two circuit rides.
The railway accommodates wheelchair users with specially designed coaches, making it one of the few accessible miniature railways in the United Kingdom.
