The stone church features a traditional design with a steep-pitched roof, rectangular windows, and an attached presbytery forming an L-shaped structure.
Thomas Henry Birchall Scott designed this religious building, which opened its doors to worshippers on February 2nd, 1940 during World War II.
The church serves multiple communities, with regular services accommodating English, Welsh, Irish, Italian, and Polish speaking congregants throughout its history.
Located off the A475 road, the church provides dedicated parking spaces in an adjacent lot that remains locked outside of service hours.
This religious structure holds the distinction of being the first church in Wales dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
