Church of St John the Evangelist, Cardiff

The Church of St John the Evangelist features triple-gabled reredos, an octagonal Victorian baptismal font, and stained glass windows from different periods.

Construction of the church began in 1854 with the nave, followed by aisles between 1858 and 1859, while G.E. Haliday added the spire in 1902.

The venue hosts numerous musical performances throughout the year, including local artists and orchestras, serving as a central performance space in Cardiff.

The church, located at St John's Crescent CF5 1NX, includes wheelchair-friendly ramps at both entrances and can accommodate up to 200 attendees.

Following renovations in 2009, the removal of pews created an open space with a dedicated performance platform and enhanced acoustical properties.
