The ride was constructed by S&S - Sansei Technologies as an El Loco model and began operating in December 2013. It became part of the wave of theme parks developed in major Chinese cities during the 2000s.

The name draws from a popular mobile game franchise, reflecting how theme parks blend entertainment trends into their attractions.
