Built in 1938 as part of Melbourne Brewery's portfolio, the establishment operated as a pub until 2004 before transforming into CC Continental Supermarket in 2007.
The venue hosted performances by numerous bands including U2, Simple Minds, and The Sex Pistols before they achieved international recognition.
The building now functions as an ethnic supermarket offering fresh produce, meats, and international food products to the local population.
