Parade Gardens, Grade II listed garden in Bath, England
Parade Gardens stretches across 1.25 hectares along the River Avon, providing direct views of Pulteney Bridge and the water flowing over the weir.
The gardens were established in 1709 as St James's Park to accompany the Assembly Rooms for spa visitors, reflecting Bath's status as a leisure destination.
Throughout summer months, the bandstand hosts musical performances between 2pm and 4pm on Sundays, drawing local residents and visitors to outdoor concerts.
Entry fees are structured at £2.50 for adults, £1.25 for students and seniors, while Bath residents with a Discovery Card receive free admission to the gardens.
The gardens feature annual three-dimensional carpet bedding displays and received the RHS Britain in Bloom Edible Britain award for their 100-foot vegetable border.
