Founded in 1887 by an Algerian named M. Siari, this establishment survived both World Wars and the London Blitz, becoming London's oldest coffee shop with over 130 years of continuous operation and service.

The storefront displays inscriptions in French, Italian, and German, reflecting the international diversity of its clientele and embodying the cosmopolitan spirit of Soho since the late 19th century era.

Open Monday through Wednesday from 10am to 6pm and Thursday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm, the establishment is wheelchair accessible and offers takeaway double espresso for just £1.50.

Despite its modest exterior appearance, the shop houses a treasure trove of equipment and products reflecting decades of coffee-making tradition, attracting both casual browsers and dedicated coffee connoisseurs seeking authentic experiences.
