The Ethnographic Museum Gjakova is a historic site and museum set in a traditional two-story house in the center of Gjakova, Kosovo. Its rooms hold clothing, furniture, handcrafted tools, and household objects that once belonged to families from the region.
The building was constructed over 200 years ago by the Sina family and changed hands in 1918 when it was given to Haxhi Osman Boshnjaku. Local authorities later decided to convert it into a museum dedicated to the everyday life and traditions of the area.
The museum is housed in an old family home that shows how wealthier residents of Gjakova once lived. The carved wooden ceilings and the household objects on display reflect the craftsmanship that local artisans passed down over generations.
