Rosie's Diner Aurora, American diner in Aurora, US.
Rosie's Diner Aurora is a classic American diner in Aurora, Illinois, housed in a shiny stainless steel car built by Paramount. Inside, red vinyl booths line the walls, retro details cover every surface, and a heated enclosed patio at the back extends the seating area beyond the main room.
The diner was opened by Sam Dehghani, who wanted to bring a traditional American roadside eating experience to Aurora. He has run the place since it opened and has kept the format of a classic diner unchanged over the years.
From May through October, the diner hosts weekly Cruisin Nights, when owners of classic cars park their vehicles outside for others to admire. Guests eat inside while watching the cars through the large windows, making the evening feel like a trip back in time.
Breakfast is served all day, so you can order eggs or pancakes even in the afternoon. If the main room feels full, the heated patio at the back is a good option and stays comfortable even when it is cool outside.
Every booth comes with its own small tabletop jukebox, and two songs can be played for a single quarter. This means that each table controls its own music independently from the rest of the room.
