Nolan, Fine dining restaurant in Syntagma, Greece
Nolan is a restaurant on Voulis Street in central Athens that combines Greek and Japanese cooking under one roof. The kitchen is open and set within the dining room itself, so the cooking process is visible from every seat.
Nolan opened in 2016 and was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand shortly after, recognising good food at fair prices. It has held this recognition every year since.
The menu brings together Greek and Japanese cooking traditions in one space. Diners experience how both culinary approaches blend through each dish served at the table.
The restaurant sits in the heart of Athens and is easy to reach by metro or on foot from most central areas. It is a small space, so booking ahead is a good idea, especially later in the week.
Every summer, from early July to mid-September, the whole team moves to Mykonos and runs the restaurant there instead. This means that depending on the time of year, the same kitchen operates in two completely different places.
