Hawker Hall
Hawker Hall is a restaurant in Windsor serving Asian-inspired food and has been welcoming guests since 2015. The space features bright colors, simple furniture, and hanging strings of lights, with decor that blends modern and traditional design elements.
The owner Chris Lucas traveled through Asia for three years during the 1990s and drew inspiration from the flavors of Malaysia and Singapore. These experiences led to the restaurant's founding and its focus on street foods from those countries.
The name refers to Asian street food markets where vendors are called hawkers. You can see this reflected in the interior design with market stall decorations and ethnic signs that echo these vibrant eating spaces.
The restaurant is open from late morning until late at night, making it suitable for lunch, dinner, or a casual evening out. The location is easy to reach and sits near shops and parks in the Windsor area.
The restaurant offers a large selection of beers with eighteen options on tap, including a house brew called Shiki, a pale lager. This diverse beer selection is specifically designed to complement the spicy dishes on the menu.
