Domaine du Bosquet, Recreational lodging complex in Égletons, France
Domaine du Bosquet is a holiday complex spread across 2 hectares of wooded land with 17 wooden blocks containing 68 residential units in various sizes. The facility was designed with direct access to green spaces and recreational amenities that blend into the surrounding forest landscape.
The complex was established in the 1990s in response to growing interest in rural tourism in central France. It became part of a broader effort to help rural communities attract visitors through new accommodation options.
The setting reflects the draw of rural Limousin, where visitors find themselves surrounded by traditional villages and agricultural landscapes. This accommodation fits into a region where local crafts and regional food hold an important place in daily life.
Each unit sleeps up to 6 people and comes with its own terrace and garden furniture for relaxing outdoors. The complex is walkable and offers parking, with easy access to the natural hiking areas surrounding the property.
The accommodation options were deliberately built from wood to blend visually into the surrounding forest environment. This design allows guests to experience the woodland directly while still feeling connected to the setting around them.
