Pikes Hotel, Luxury hotel in Ibiza, Balearic Islands of Spain
Pikes Hotel is a country hotel in the rural hills above San Antonio, set in a converted stone house with 26 individually designed rooms. The property features a swimming pool, tennis courts, and several communal areas framed by gardens and terraces.
Tony Pike converted the stone house into a hotel in 1978, turning it into a destination for international guests. The 1983 Wham! Club Tropicana video shoot gave the property worldwide recognition.
The property has drawn musicians and artists for decades, who perform regularly and shape its relaxed character. Room 39 restaurant and the garden bar remain meeting spots where guests and locals gather during live music sessions.
The hotel sits around 2.6 km northeast of Sant Antoni de Portmany center on a hillside, so a vehicle or taxi makes sense. From here you can reach Cala Gracio beach and the Sunset Strip in a few minutes.
Each room holds a record player with selected vinyl albums, letting guests choose their own music. The pool retains its 1980s appearance from when it featured in several video shoots.
