Monsieur Vuong, Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin-Mitte, Germany.
Monsieur Vuong is a Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin-Mitte with red lacquered walls, wooden tables, and modern chairs. The outdoor areas with picnic tables invite you to eat under the open sky on Alte Schönhauser Strasse.
Founder Dat Vuong opened the place in 1999 originally as a small Indochina Cafe. The restaurant has grown since then and developed into its current form in Berlin-Mitte.
The restaurant centers on Vietnamese cooking prepared in traditional southern styles. The dishes with lemongrass, curry, and roasted sesame seeds reflect the food you find on Vietnam's streets.
The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 11 PM and Friday through Sunday until midnight. Reservations are not accepted, so it is better to come during daytime hours or outside peak times.
The menu is updated twice weekly to keep the offerings fresh and varied. The team has also published a cookbook with recipes for Vietnamese street food that you can recreate at home.
