Entrecôte
Entrecôte is a restaurant in Prahran serving French cuisine in a newly designed space. The venue includes multiple sections: an outdoor terrace with marble tables, a casual brasserie with tiled floors, and a formal dining room with velvet banquettes and chandeliers.
The original location opened in 2014 as a pop-up venue in South Yarra and quickly gained popularity. In 2021, it relocated to its current address on Greville Street in Prahran, where it expanded into larger premises with enhanced offerings.
The restaurant takes its name from a classic French cut of meat and reflects Paris dining traditions. Visitors experience French ways of eating and gathering, with rooms designed to evoke different periods and neighborhoods of France.
The restaurant is open daily from early morning until late evening, making it easy to drop in at any time. Advance reservations are recommended, especially for larger groups or special occasions.
Next to the main restaurant is Le Petit Marché, a small French delicatessen where visitors can purchase fresh croissants, coffee, and other French treats to take away. This adjacent shop of authentic products is often overlooked despite adding to the overall experience.
