The Israeli Air Force Museum spans across outdoor spaces at Hatzerim Air Force Base, displaying more than 150 aircraft, helicopters and anti-aircraft systems.
The museum opened its doors in 1991 after extensive planning and construction efforts, initiated by Brigadier General Yaakov Turner with the cornerstone laid in 1985.
Active Israeli Air Force soldiers guide visitors through exhibits, explaining military aviation developments and sharing details about specific aircraft and missions.
The facility operates from Sunday through Thursday between 8:00 and 17:00, Friday until 13:00, with admission prices of 30 NIS for adults and 20 NIS for children.
The collection includes captured aircraft from neighboring countries and the actual helicopter used in diplomatic missions, representing significant military achievements.
