La sequenza

La Sequenza is a monumental iron sculpture at Hangar Bicocca composed of vertical plates arranged across three levels. The work creates a complex visual structure through these interlocking elements, balancing solid forms with open spaces.

The sculpture was created by Fausto Melotti in 1981, marking a moment in contemporary art practice. It was subsequently installed in the garden at Hangar Bicocca, where it has become part of the complex's collection.
